Dear New Brentwood Student,
In less than a week, you will enter the Brentwood gates and join our community. You may be feeling nervous, excited or even unsure about what awaits you. All of these feelings are perfectly natural; however, I remember my first day, as does every other Brentwood student, so believe me when I say the nervousness will quickly fade.
Brentwood is more than a school; it is a home for us. Many of you will be travelling long distances, some of you may have never stepped foot on Vancouver Island. My advice is to come with an open mind. If you are looking for a new start, you have it; new impressions, friendships and experiences await. You are about to start a new chapter in your life, where you have full control of becoming the person you want to be.
Any Brentwood student will tell you that orientation is one of the best times of the year. There are over 180 other new students from 31 different countries, all in the same position as you; it is an exciting time. However, make the most of these last weeks, spend time with your family and friends and come to Brentwood ready for something new.
Enjoy the rest of your summer; I look forward to meeting you all on September 2nd.
